Assessment
The first step towards admitting oneself or their near and dear ones to the rehabilitation program is the assessment of the patient. The assessment process can be done on a telephone call or in-person to learn about the patient’s history and physical and mental health situation. It is basically about providing the needed information to the professionals so that pre-diagnosis assessment can be done of the patients.
Admission
The next step after the completion of the assessment and verification is the admission. When admitting a patient to the center, there should be some company with the patients. A family member or friend accompanying them for the first time can be helpful for the patient as there is paperwork involved and protocols that need to be followed. So, a company will not only motivate the patient to take the new journey but will also help avoid stress with all the pre-work that needs to be done.
Introduction to Sunrise Recovery
Once the patient is formally admitted to our addiction treatment center, the next step is followed by the introduction to Sunrise Recovery so that they get to know and understand the place they would be living in, the treatment process that will follow, and the therapies they would be enrolling into.
