Contradictory to the popular belief, detox isn’t just for people who have been under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Detox is done for eliminating the toxins from our body which can be caused by so many factors. When we talk about alcohol and drug detox, it’s main purpose is to let the body system removes the residue of the drugs and to safely manage the withdrawal symptoms from the body of the patient.
We, at Sunrise Recovery, believe in providing utmost care and commitment towards our patients to reach their goal of fully recovering from the traps of addiction. Thus, we take serious efforts in the process of detoxification. We provide several medical detox programs in Indiana. As the detox process differs from patient to patient, we carefully analyze, study and come up with the detox process which is suitable to the needs and wants of the patients.
Our in-house rehabilitation center has been providing suitable medical detox to our patients for years now. The detox process is designed in such a way that it suits the need of the patients individually. We provide medical detox and detoxification from various drugs.
There are various methods of detox from various drugs which we use at the Sunrise Recovery. In short-term medical detox, the patients are put into the detox program for a short period of time to ease the patient into the treatment process and to see how the body reacts to the process. Likewise, in the long term medicated detox, the patients are given medication for the detox process which is targeted in the long run. The detox from various drugs is different from one another. And so is the case with alcoholism.
When we talk about opioid addiction, the detox options are a little different from the other detox options. We provide detox for Opioid which has been approved by the FDA. When it comes to alcohol detox, we treat our patients with Benzodiazepines, which are used to relieve the patients from anxiety, hallucinations, insomnia, and seizures. Be it heroin detox, marijuana detox, cocaine detox, methamphetamines detox or any other detox, it is really important to understand the level of addiction and also make sure to go through the following aspects of the patients.
Thus, we make sure to understand the complexities of the situation and the need of the patient when we start our detox programs.
Supervised withdrawal process to safely manage substance dependence and withdrawal symptoms.
Evidence-based tools and support for addiction recovery empowerment.
Combines medication with therapy for effective addiction recovery.
At Sunrise Recovery, we not only provide our patients with a residential program for the process of detoxification but also make sure that we provide long term therapies and aftercare. As sometimes, even after the treatment process and patients are fully recovered there is a chance of them getting relapsed. So, we provide aftercare programs where we regularly reach out to our patients to check on them.
After the detoxification, we move towards long term or short term treatment procedures. These procedures depend on the patients and their needs. We provide residential as well as an outpatient program. The residential program is the right way to go when it comes to the extreme cases of drugs and alcohol abuse but in some cases, we also cater to our patients with the out-patient therapies. The After detoxification process can be harder for some patients than others and thus it is incredibly important to understand the patient individually as the long abuse of drugs and alcohol not only puts them in physical pain but also affects them mentally. So, we make sure that they are given the right medication to deal with the withdrawal symptoms which can be really severe in some cases.
Thus, after the process of detoxification, we enroll our patients into the in-house treatment process as well as the outpatient program. These programs act as a backbone to recovery for the patients. We also provide our patients with aftercare so that they don’t fall back into the trap. It is really important to make sure that the patients are not surrounded by the darkness of their past. This is even more important when it comes to the outpatient program.
